radio marti recording with jamming
Cuba transmits noise on the same frequency as Radio Marti broadcasts. When I listen to 6030 khz where I am, I hear a sound like running water on top of the broadcast. Here's a recording of it. This Radio Marti broadcast came from a Greenville, NC transmitter.

Interesting.
With Atlanta so close to Greenville I've never heard the jamming before.
 
I wonder: does a strong signal trump a weak one, or does the jammer just have a westward propagation pattern?
 
OK, I've since learned from Wikipedia that the strongest signal wins in FM, but not so in AM.
