Your website is an extremely useful resource. I was wondering: what equipment do you use most often? What would be your idea of the optimal SW/MW/DX setup? Personally, I didn't have a lot of money, so I picked up the Kaito WRX911 for $15.
Me2U: The Eton E5 or Grundig G5 is my favorite portable radio overall. Of the portables I have owned or used, it has been the most capable, reliable, and easy to use.
Occasionally, refurbished units are available for much less than the typical US$150 selling price.
